BHC News 8.8.11

Greetings,

The BHC sure is having a busy summer! We just had our first event for Ascent in Woodland Hills just yesterday. All residents enjoyed a great BBQ from T's California BBQ while listening to a jazz trio poolside. What started out as a BBQ turned quickly into a pool party. To view pics of the event, CLICK HERE!

One week earlier, EVO had their BBQ and everything went smoothly. Residents were quickly texting each other informing everyone that the food was excellent. It was indeed our most successful BBQ yet at EVO! For pics of the event, CLICK HERE!

Today we signed up our largest client to date. The Hollywood is filled with celebrities and young business professionals. This new client was referred to us by Pacifica. The BHC will be handling front desk, security and concierge duties for the residents of The Hollywood. We look forward to joining the Pacifica team.

Lastly, as the BHC Events have really kicked in to high gear due to the influx of new properties, I created a web page specifically for event photos. Residents can now see event photos of other HOAs. This is just yet another example of how the BHC is redefining service. To view, CLICK HERE!

The BHC is ahead of its goal of $1M in contracts by 2012. While this year has had some ups and downs for us, one thing has been constant. Our service has steadily improved. From events, to mixers to professional photographed events, back-office administration, Sunday Express upgrades etc...improving has always remained a priority. For that hard work, we are now being rewarded with seven properties including one I have not mentioned yet in Playa Del Rey referred by KB Home. We also have at least two to three additional accounts on the way in Downtown LA and The Valley.

I truly owe a debt of gratitude to my employees, developers and management companies that have made the BHC what it is today and what it will be in the future.

Stay tuned for The Beverly Hills Concierge Service August Mixer on 8/25/11 from 7-9pm at Rosa Mexicano LA LIVE. TO RSVP, CLICK HERE!

Best,

Peter Ferguson

BHC News

Greetings,

The Beverly Hills Concierge Service has partnered with KB Home to welcome Ascent at Warner Center in Woodland Hills to the BHC family. Ascent is 191 Units with at least 167 sold. We look forward to providing onsite concierge and security services to the residents of Ascent. KB Home was referred to the BHC from Action Property Management. We truly appreciate all the business that APM has given us and look forward to fruitful relationship.

I met with the Merit Property Management about providing them with on site services for a few properties. The lunch meeting was held at Trader Vics and I must say we were all surprised at how great the food tasted and I only spent $60 for three people. The meeting was productive and the BHC looks forward to our first partnership with Merit.

We have had a very busy few weeks with signing up new properties and events. The BHC June Mixer at The First & Hope Supper Club was fantastic. The owner Steven was the perfect host and the band was first rate. The drinks were truly divine and the staff was friendly. I must say it felt great to be on stage with my staff who were all smiles the entire event. For pictures, CLICK HERE!

We have a few barbeques planned for the summer. The first will be at EVO on July 31st and then August 7th Ascent will have theirs. LUMA's barbecue is still being planned but hopefully sometime in August. On August 25th we have our next BHC Mixer at Rosa Mexicano LA LIVE. Stay tuned for details.

Lastly, we have another KB Home property signing up at the end of the month and we start discussions with another downtown HOA about providing them with security/concierge services. This account will be our largest to date so cross your fingers.

For anyone wanting to get out of Los Angeles, I truly suggest you take the train down to San Diego. Make sure you take the business class and get your tickets in advance. If you are young and want to party a bit then I suggest staying at the Hard Rock Hotel. If you want a relaxing atmosphere then you should try the Andaz Hotel or the Hilton. My favorite restaurant was The Searsucker. The food was incredible and the crowd was probably the best looking crowd I have seen in one location. Most importantly everyone was very approachable. The best straight club is Fluxx and the best gay club would be Eden according to my research, which included tipping doormen, concierges and meeting locals who all made sure I could get into these clubs.

The train only took two and a half hours. There so much to do in SD and I must admit 2 days was not enough. From the pool party at the Hard Rock to major league baseball just next door, great dining, great bars...this city has it all and all within a quick walk or five dollar taxi ride. If you are looking for a fun vacation or a quick weekend getaway, San Diego tops my list.

That all for now!

Have a great summer!

Greeting all,

This past Sunday was indeed busy for the BHC. We served two Sunday Expresses at LUMA and EVO, which was BHC Concierge Paul Tauzin's first event. Later that evening, Paul and Doris did a fantastic job hosting The EVO Concierge Cocktail Party at Trader Vics. EVO residents had a great jolly time sipping those out of the world Trader Vics Cocktails! I must admit I had two myself and I somehow made it through the night without falling. :)

Earlier that day, we also had Big City Chef's Brian York teach a cooking class at West Ocean in Long Beach. Residents truly love this class and Chef Brian's funfilled approach to cooking.

Four events in one days is just another day at the office for the BHC!

I am often asked what is my favorite restaurant but for me this changes with my mood and quite honestly with your comments. At the moment, I have two favorites: Trader Vics LA Live and if you want to get out of your area The Penthouse at The Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica.

Have a great day!
